TGIF

I have a head ache again.  This is the fourth day of head ache.  I know it is my sinuses but really.  I will have to say that I did get up and I did go to my stroller strides class.  I will not tell you that I had a great workout today since my head was killing me, but it got me going and I think that helped.  I am not one to take meds for things and now that I am nursing I really try to stay away.  So I am not really taking anything to help with this other than a pain killer.  I think I am going to have to do some investigation into what I can take for my allergies that will he though because I am not sure I can take more of this.

With all that been said how about a hop.

Oh yeah, don't forget to check out the Babykicks web site and there new video on their newest diaper.

Happy Friday!!

The tables have turned

As a teacher I used to write the note home to the parents letting them know what their son or daughter has been up to.  I will have to say I always tried to write as many positive notes as I did negative ones.  But the negative ones were the ones I hated.  They are such a pain in the but.  I don't want to write them, the kid does not want to take them home and most parents don't want to read them.  No one wants to deal with them.  I was always annoyed when I did not get much of a response from the parents when I would speak about a problem a student was having or when they would just blow the note off.
    Well the tables have turned:
Here it is O's note home about his bad day.  It is not the first one we have had but it is the one that made me think about my reaction.  I just walked out and re read it to make sure I knew what it said.  I was not surprised by it and what O had done but embarrassed.  I know that what he is doing is right on developmentally but I just don't feel like dealing with it.  He is a teacher's child and should know better, right?  I don't think it works that way.  So we talked about it and shared it with daddy.  Hopefully it will not happen again.

Oh the tables have turned and I am not receiving the bad notes and not writing them.  I never really thought about this day.

Babykicks!! Check it out!

With Little B I have chose to use cloth diapers.  I was looking for ways to cut cost since I would be staying home with the boys this year.  I have learned lots about cloth diapers and really do like them.  In my research I have come across a cloth diaper brand that I am really excited about since it is local to me.  It is based out of a town just over the bay bridge from where I live.

They have some really neat diapers that everyone should check out.  They are just releasing a new video on their diapers.
Check it out!

Once you have watched the video check out their site here and you can always watch the video again here.

Check it out.  The site that has the most views will win a free diaper give away.  Which means that you, yes you, will have a chance to win a new diaper.  So come on and take a minute or two to check it out and help us all win!

Tuesday Hops

I am now on day three of a sinus head ache and I have had enough.  I wish it would go away it is making my life hard.  So today I will do some hops in hopes that my day will improve.

Oh what a Halloween

Yesterday was one busy day.  We started the day off with pumpkin carving.  O was digging it.
Little B wanted in on the action himself.  Although he was a little to small to get in and dig but he tried.
O wanted to do it by himself.  Boy did he ever work hard.
He wanted a sad pumpkin and a mad pumpkin, they are taking about feelings in school.
Here is the results of his hard work.

Once the pumpkins were done it was time for the Halloween parade.
The costumes were put on and the community kids paraded the streets.
O was "The Big Brown Truck Man" as he called it.  In other words he was the UPS man.

Little B was a dragon.

That night was so exciting.  O could not wait to get back in his costume and head on out.
The fast shot before we left.
Trey goes with us every year.  He is always supper dog but it makes it fun.  What a dog to put up with this!
