Writer's workshop

So on one of the blogs that I follow the author participates in a writers workshop and had a button linking to the blog.  It sounds really interesting and since I want to keep my writing skills up while I am staying home I thought that I would give it a try. So her it goes.

The prompt is:

Photographs can turn a house into a home. Share a photograph that is not on your wall, but should be…if you weren’t so lazy about actually putting it there.

I love photographs and taking lots of pictures.  My house has pictures of my family alll over it.  But I do not have this one up on a wall yet.

This a a photograph from my wedding day and I have to say that it is one of my favorites.  I love the fact that you can see the chapel, my wedding party and all the guest behind us.  I love the chapel that we got married in and the entire wedding was planned just so it represented who my husband and I are.  The sad thing is I have this picture already printed out and it is printed on canvas so it looks like a painting.  I just don't have it framed and on the wall.  To make things even worse I have a gift card to get it framed but I have not taken it to the frame store to get it done.  Now I do have an excuse, not a good one, and that is the gift card should be enough to get this picture framed but I have a second one that I want framed to match and hang them together and the card will not cover getting both pictures framed. Kind of dumb but that is why I have been waiting.  But my 5 year anniversary is in just about 2 weeks so I think I will just get it framed and up on a wall so I can say I got it done.  Hey it only took me 5 years.
